Gianfranco Ferré. Design Principles

Rita Airaghi, Paola Bertola, Federica Vacca

Gianfranco Ferré. Design Principles is an open-access book published by Corraini Edizioni to accompany the eponymous exhibition held at the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles from February 7 to May 15, 2023. The catalogue is edited by the Gianfranco Ferré Research Centre at the Politecnico di Milano and the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The exhibition, hosted in Los Angeles from February 7 to May 15, 2023, explores Gianfranco Ferré’s unique approach to fashion design through six design principles that shaped his creative process, introducing his distinctive “methodology” – an aspect that is rarely formalised within the fashion world.
