A floor-length dress reaching the ankles, made with a base of semi-transparent black tulle, entirely embroidered by the Ricamificio Laura of San Martino in Rio (RE), combining hand and machine techniques with chain stitch, using two threads of different thicknesses and materials. The design of the garment plays with the concept of texture, specifically reflecting Ferré's research on glows and reflections, and thus falls within his experimentation to create the illusion of precious metals, starting from the manipulation of a less valuable material. The varying intensity of the embroidery across different sections, strategically cut to conceal most of the side seams and accentuate the silhouette, along with the different directions of the embroidered lines, make the piece appear as a single thread wrapped around the body. From knee-height down to the hem, the garment is lined with a silk and lurex satin, which adds weight to the bottom and helps it fall gracefully when worn. Inside, a nude-colored tulle slip is integrated into the seam of the zipper and hand-sewn onto the opposite side, so that it is worn with the dress but remains invisible.
