Gianfranco Ferré tra ragione e sentimento

Gianfranco Ferré tra ragione e sentimento is an open-access book published to accompany the eponymous exhibition held in the Sala degli Stemmi of Palazzo Malinverni in Legnano (MI) from September 7 to October 6, 2024. The volume is edited by Rita Airaghi, Paola Bertola and Federica Vacca.

The exhibition illustrates Gianfranco Ferré’s vision through a selection of drawings and garments. The drawings, organised into thematic sections, highlight key design principles that shaped his creative process, introducing his distinctive “methodology”. Alongside the drawings, a selection of his iconic garments, the white shirt, offers an experiential journey through Ferré’s stylistic research, where those principles materialise in endless variations of the piece.
