La Seduzione dell’Artigianato
The Gianfranco Ferré Foundation participates in the exhibition “La Seduzione dell’Artigianato ovvero: il bello e ben fatto”, held at the former National Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions in Rome – now Museum of Civilisations – from December 5, 2012 to February 10, 2013. This major exhibition celebrates the sartorial mastery of Made in Italy through the museum display of one hundred and thirty garments.
concept

La Seduzione dell’Artigianato ovvero: il bello e ben fatto (The Allure of Craftsmanship, or: Beauty and Fine Making) is a tribute to the high craftsmanship embodied in Italian fashion. It highlights the extraordinary workmanship and the skilled artisan’s hands that create it – a true hallmark of Italian beauty and fine making.

The exhibition unfolds as both didactic and surprising, featuring garments and materials never before displayed, alongside selected costumes from the collections of the former National Museum of Arts and Popular Traditions. It offers a creative and artisanal journey designed for both industry professionals and general visitors alike.
