Prêt-à-porter Uomo
Fall/Winter

“Respect for tradition and a desire to innovate are the principles I followed in creating my first menswear collection, for which I felt the need to clarify the use and function of certain key garments of the male wardrobe.

For this reason, I identified and separated leisurewear – which lends itself to greater innovation in the choice of materials and to interesting technological solutions – from garments belonging to the tradition of menswear, which I propose with clear intent, respecting their precise function, convinced that they should not be falsely fashionable nor falsely sporty”.

In this way, the choice in favour of loose, naturally softened lines is explained: slightly sloping shoulders and comfortable fits, with natural proportions achieved through respect for precise and traditional measurements. Equally clear and well-motivated is the choice of colours, strictly linked to the function of the garments: on the one hand neutrals, sometimes enlivened by piping or by Prince of Wales and houndstooth patterns; on the other, a range of dense colours drawn from tones of must, ripe olives, mustard, and finally the classic blue.

Materials: double-weave cotton sateen; double wool cavalry twill for raincoats; lightweight cover coat and cheviot fabrics, finely worked and piped; double-face fabrics and grisailles for suits; wool cavalry twill and reps, fustian, camelhair with a broad diagonal weave, raised-surface damier for jackets; cotton and wool cavalry twill, double-weave fabrics, wool reps and fustian for trousers; oxford, cotton gabardine, plain or striped poplin, silk fil-à-fil, voile or honeycomb piqué for shirts; camelhair, cashmere and alpaca for knitwear; nappa leather, sanded leather and suede for leather garments.
